It’s unBOOlievable how fast this year is going, Halloween is here already! At Charitable Impact, we love this time of year – the dressing up, the pumpkin carving, an excuse to eat loads of sweets…
As halloween collides with the start of the Giving Season, we have been thinking up some fun Halloween fundraising ideas!
Pumpkin carving contest
What do you call an overweight pumpkin? A plumpkin! (We love that one…)
Why not make this years pumpkin carving competitive? Go head-to-head with friends to see who can carve the best pumpkin. Everyone could make a donation to a Giving Group on Charitable Impact, and whoever wins the competition can decide which cause to send the money to!
Bake sale
Bake sales are great for any occasion – is there ever a bad time for cake? Whip up a batch of Halloween cookies or pumpkin treats, and sell them to friends or co-workers to raise money for a good cause.
Horror movie night
Set up a home cinema with lots of comfy chairs, bean bags and a big projector screen. Invite your friends over to watch a scary movie in exchange for a $5 donation to your Halloween fundraising Giving Group.
Fancy dress competition
This is a great one to do at work! Get your coworkers to donate $5 to come into the office in fancy dress. Whoever has the best costume gets a prize, and of course, bragging rights.
If you are organizing any halloween fundraisers, or have any halloween fundraising ideas, we’d love to hear from you!
